I am thrilled to introduce BJ (Barry Victor Jr.), as the Program Lead for The Miles Hall Foundation!
BJ brings a wealth of experience as a Bay Area community organizer, educator, entrepreneur, hip-hop band leader, and creative visionary. His work has always been deeply rooted in social justice, mental health advocacy, and empowering underrepresented communities—aligning perfectly with TMHF’s mission.
As our first Program Lead, BJ will play a critical role in developing and managing our current and new programs and mission-focused projects, ensuring they are impactful, sustainable, and community-centered.
He will lead program ideation, execution, and evaluation while working closely with me, our leadership team, staff, volunteers, partners, and the communities we serve. His visionary yet practical approach, coupled with his critical thinking, and creativity, will help strengthen our future initiatives, build meaningful connections, and drive systemic change.
Beyond his professional expertise, BJ uses his personal experiences growing up in Oakland mixed with the rich history and legacy of the city to fuel his passion for using art, music, education, and advocacy to inspire and uplift others which makes him a powerful addition to our team.
BJ is a proud father and husband who lives in Walnut Creek, CA. He has also presented at previous Miles Hall Breaking Barriers Youth Summits.
We are incredibly excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact we will create together.
Please join me in giving BJ a warm welcome!
